Two new eyepieces from SmartAstronomy offer wide, flat fields of view at comfortable prices. The 19-millimeter EF ($89.95) sports an impressive 65° field of view that is free of pincushion distortion and field curvature out to the edges, and a comfortable 19 mm of eye relief. The 27-mm EF ($99.95) has a 53° field and 23 mm of eye relief. Each eyepiece is broadband multicoated, parfocal, and has air-spaced lens elements with blackened edges. The EF series also features twist-up, adjustable eyecups.
