Celebrate National Dark-Sky Week

April 22, 2004 | This week marks the second annual National Dark-Sky Week. The event, founded by Jennifer Barlow, a high-school student in Virginia, is designed to raise awareness about light pollution and to serve as a way to remind others about the continued loss of our precious resource — the stars above.
