Pursued NIH and AFOSR funded research projects for 30 of 31 years at SEOSU. Amateur astronomer. Interests: lunar meteoroid impacts; solar astronomy; cosmic rays and climate. Cotter (Arkansas) Observatory gear: 8- and 10-inch reflectors, 4-inch long focus refractor, small Coronado solar telescope, several portable telescopes, SID-type solar flare detector, cosmic muon sensor, cameras (video and integrating) and video time inserter. There is a sensitive seismometer in our basement which (along with the SID system) runs 24/7. There is also an electrometer for detecting lightning and other atmospheric electric transients. Age 78.
