Kimberly Burtnyk

Kimberly Burtnyk has returned to freelance astronomy writing after spending more than 15 years as an informal science education program and exhibit evaluator. Her lifelong interest in amateur astronomy, as well as her formal education in astrophysics and science communication prepared her well for her current role as the LIGO Laboratory Technical Writer and Editor based at the LIGO Hanford Observatory. Working at LIGO has reignited her passion for sharing her knowledge of the universe.
