Description:

I thought it was gonna be just anther day of me photographing the Sun, and getting some prominences, but it turned out much better than I thought. There was a huge cluster of sunspots in the center, and some prominences around the edges. Once I finished and started packing up, I took one last glance in the eyepiece to notice that the sunspot cluster was glowing white. Ran back to hook up my camera again, after 20 minutes, the glow got bigger and brighter. It turned out to be an M9.8 flare (R2) in the Region 3500. Never seen anything like it
