Description:

Lots of Sun Spot activity this week, but today is the first clear day for a photo. The arrow points to area 3590, which has been in the Solar news this week, for being the largest sunspot region of the current Solar Cycle. It spans 9.5 times the surface area of Earth. This active region released three X flares over two days this week, including the largest X flare of Solar Cycle 25 so far. AR 3590 will soon rotate to the back (non-Earth facing) side of the sun, so good that we had a clear, sun shiny day today. My daily source of Solar News is https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/en/solar-activity.html, for those that like to know what the sun is up to.
