Description:

In Bahrain though the Moon rise was @ 6:35 PM, it was not visible for some time because of the haziness on the horizon and the generally diffused weather in Bahrain. After 7 PM the Moon started appearing clearly revealing its craters. Infact the haziness acted as a filter displaying the full moon in Orangish form. This shot was taken from one of the tallest building from where the night city scape was clearly visible in its neon light form amidst the haze. I used a zoom lens (70-200mm) to connect to my Camera (Canon EOS R3) supported on a tripod as the exposure was around 0.6 seconds. For me it was a different experience unlike the clear dark bluish sky on Supermoon I'm used to in the past with a clear distinctness. Here the haziness, the light refraction / light pollution of the city scape all gave an orangish washed out spectacle for me to capture. The next supermoon will be in August next year. One on August 1, 2023 and the next on Thursday, August 31.
