Description:
On April 1, 2024, was the last day I could image the comet 12P/Pons-Brooks from my observatory under bright periurban skie (Bortle Scale 6), with it located only 12° above the horizon and still amidst the evening twilight. Despite being limited to just 8 minutes of total exposure time using LRGB filters, the comet, shining at magnitude 4.2, was bright enough to reveal its ion tail with intricate details of wavy jets, which I endeavored to emphasize during post-processing.
