Description:

With the gif size limitations this gif has been resized to be accepted by S&T, I am not sure how it will appear in the gallery, I apologize to S&T if after the software resizes the gif on their page it does not look good, yes, a test. Asteroid (248370) 2005 QN173 is now also known as Periodic Comet 433P after it developed a coma and tail this summer. The comet should get fainter this fall after brightening to around magnitude 18 this summer. The tail in this gif is at least 0.05 degrees long, earlier this summer the tail was reported to be 0.17 degrees long.
