Description:

In these images Comet C/2020 T2 (Palomar) was magnitude 11.9 (the comet was to large to estimate accurately with my software, reported to be around magnitude 11), had a Coma at least 0.033 degrees wide, a fan tail at position angle 135 degrees from the coma and was 175 million miles from Earth. The comet reached perihelion in it's orbit in July 2021 when it was 190 million miles from the Sun. The comet made it's close approach to Earth in May 2021 at 131 million miles. The comet brightened to magnitude 10 in July 2021 and will now slowly become fainter as it moves away from the Earth and Sun.
