Comet C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) was magnitude 2.3 with a tail at position angle 68 degrees from the comet coma on the evening of September 17 MST. The color image was taken at an altitude of 2.3 degrees composed of RGB images each exposed for 6 seconds.
