Some say comet P/2016 BA14 Panstarrs is a fragment of comet 252P Linear. The mother is magnitude 6 and the sibling is magnitude 17 in these images. In these images they are 56 degrees apart in Earth's sky and after their close approaches are now just shy of 0.1 AU from Earth. 252P has a coma of about 1 degree, BA14 has a very short dim tail not visible in these images.
