Final version of my new M78 project. 8 hours 18 min total integration time. RASA 8" F/2 telescope, ASI2600MC Pro OSC camera cooled to -5C. Optolong L-Pro filter. Processed in PixInsight. Messier 78 or M78, also known as NGC 2068, is a reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1780 and included by Charles Messier in his catalog of comet-like objects that same year. Magnitude: 8.3 Radius: 5 light years. Distance to Earth: 1,600 light years
