Description:
Jonesboro, Arkansas was predicted to be on path of the Double Diamond Ring according to the Great American Eclipse website. We were in the 2 min 18 sec totality region and were not strictly within the line predicted. I took a chance and started imaging it on our campus grounds. I missed the entry diamond in the excitement BUT managed to capture the Exit Diamond. While developing the images, I was pleasantly surprised to find the exit Double Diamond Ring effect. In this image the nascent and emerging Double Diamond Ring Effect along with the Corona details and faint prominences.
