Description:

During rare occasions where all four Galilean moons are close to Jupiter, taking a "Jovian family portrait" is possible. During this imaging session, the Great Red Spot joined the party as it turned into view. As for the four largest natural satellites of Jupiter, Io was moving towards Jupiter, Europa was transiting across the Jovian surface, Ganymede was moving away from Jupiter, and the much dimmer Callisto was moving pass the north pole of Jupiter.
