Description:

Watching the "numbers" via the Space Weather Prediction Center I made the decision to head to my "dark sky" site in Sussex County, NJ. Started shooting at about 8:30 and only saw on the camera a low diffuse green band until about 10:30 when curtains of red appeared. Camera detected the reds for about 40 minutes. Canon 5Dmk4, Canon 50mm, f2.8, ISO 1000, 5 seconds. Image shot in RAW and processed in Lightroom & CS 5. (nothing drastic to keep it real)
