Description:

Around 1300 light years away, to the south of the Orion's belt in the constellation of Orion, lies this iconic diffuse nebula, popularly known as Orion Nebula, catalogued as Messier 42. It is one of the brightest nebulae in the night sky, easily visible to the naked eye. This violent region, consisting of dust and gas, is where the stars are born. In the image, there is another well-known deep sky object called Running Man Nebula chasing the Orion nebula, as portrayed by the nature. I spent 2 nights capturing this image from heavy light polluted sky (Bortle 9), with the total integration of 3 hours 28 minutes (52 x 4 minutes exposure) with the camera gain set at 111.
