This collection of 3 second images was taken about 7 hours before the OSIRIS-REx Spacecraft's close approach to Earth during it's Earth gravity assist flyby on it's way to Asteroid Bennu. At the time of these images the Spacecraft was magnitude 15.5 moving across Earth's night sky at 1.67 degrees per hour to the left in this image. The 46 images were stacked to show the Spacecraft at the center of the image as it moved by the stars with each star appearing as a line of 46 dots. The upper right inset shows a 3 second image of the Spacecraft (ORX).
