Description:
Early in the morning of August 14, 2021, the Perseid meteor shower blossomed into a major outburst, much to our delight! This image of over 80 meteors was compiled from a time series of 600 images, 62 with meteors in this field, between 0247 and 0349 hr CDT from Pembina Manitoba (49.058676, -98.506174). Many images had 2 meteors, one had 4 from a 10-second exposure. The experience truly felt like a shower, and was a magical end to a marvellous night under the stars!
