Description:

I took this photo in Yucca Valley, near Joshua Tree, aggregating over a hundred 3-minute sub-exposures (5 hours total exposure time) over the course of 3 nights. I then stacked all the sub-exposures via stacking software (Astro Pixel Processor), and edited in Photoshop to produce the final image. With dark bortle 4 skies and a fast lens (I shot at F2), I was able to capture some of the fainter dust surrounding the "Seven Sisters" - something I've never really attempted before from my apartment in the city.
