On a typical spring day, the kind where the warmth doesn't overpower and everything feels in balance, I found myself immersed in a scene that made me forget the outside world. Just us and nature: birdsong, the low gliding flight of bee-eaters that, almost like choreography, seemed to invite me to stay a little longer. In hindsight, I think it was the feeling of belonging that convinced me. As if that place gently whispered, "stay, you belong here too."I decided I had to return that night, to witness the nocturnal essence of this place nestled right by the Spanish border. A surprise that filled me with gratitude and reverence for the days spent here, and for all that this place gave, asking for nothing in return.
