Description:

Spring Equinox (20/21 Mar) is the first day of the spring season. It is also the first day of the year for Iranian people. Equinoxes and Solstices are the symbols of change in nature in some cultures. The official calendar of Iranians, that is the Solar calendar, is compiled exactly in accordance with the Spring equinox, and Nowruz is the beginning of the spring season, the beginning of the new month, the new season, and the beginning of the new year. Happy Nowruz to all people in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan who celebrate the first day of spring! Nowruz, meaning “new day”, is an ancestral festivity marking the first day of spring and the renewal of nature. It includes rituals, ceremonies, and cultural events, as well as the enjoyment of a special meal with loved ones. New clothes are worn, visits are made to family and friends, and gifts, especially for children, are exchanged. Celebrated for over 3000 years in the Balkans, the Black Sea Basin, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East even in Japan (vernal equinox day), and other regions, it promotes values of peace and solidarity between generations and within families as well as reconciliation and neighborliness. It took two years to get this photo. In the first year, the general structure of Analemma was completed on the mentioned dates at 07:40 a.m (IRST Time Zone). Two ends of the pattern of the Analemma are the Summer Solstice (Left) and Winter Solstice (Right). In the second year, the empty spaces caused by the cloudy sky were photographed in order to obtain the integrity and aesthetic aspect of this image.
