Equipment:

ASI 2600 mc (-10C gain 100) imaging camera; Celestron C11 with HyperStar v4, ASI462 mc guide with ZWO 30 mm guide scope, Zwo Asiair Pro for control, capture, and live stacking, and iOptron CEM70G on a permanent pier.

Description:

This is my first attempt at a 2- panel mosaic to capture the glory of the Veil Nebula in Cygnus the Swan (aka Northern Cross). In the Zwo Asiair app, each sub was live stacked and calibrated with 20 flats, 20 darks, and 50 bias. Each sub was 3 minutes, guided and dithered every sub. Each panel of the mosaic consisted of 34 subs (2 hrs, but with stacking and guide settling you get 34 subs). Maxim DL for log stretch and saved as TIF. Photoshop automated photomerge and blend, cropped, flattened, and then used StarExterminator to process stars and nebula separately.
