Description:

The Witch Head Nebula, formally known as IC2118, is an extremely faint reflection nebula, located in the constellation of Orion. It's shape resembles a face of a witch, with nose and pointy chin. Located around 40 light years away from the star Rigel, this Beta of the constellation Orion is reason, the nebula is shining or else it would be completely dark.IC2118 is believed to be an ancient supernova remnant and is located around 900 light years away from us and spreads across 70 light years.This image is taken under Bortle 4 skies.
