Joe worked in the climate change research field for 35 years at the Australian National University. He's been an amateur astronomer and photographer for since the mid- 1970's and teaching photography workshops through the Photoaccess Arts centre since the 1990's. Now retired, Joe runs residential retreat astrophotography and photography workshops from his dark sky home located in Bortle 1-2 skies between Young and Cowra in central western New South Wales Australia.
