Equipment:

Taken with a Canon Ra mirrorless DSLR through a Celestron RASA 11" V2 on a Meade LX850 mount/drive auto-guided by Meade StarLock.

Description:

Resembling a Basking Shark, this nebula is part of a large molecular cloud in the constellation Cepheus. Within this image of the "dark nebula" are also two blue reflection nebulae that are illuminated by nearby stars.
