Rob Lyons is a professional filmmaker, photographer and founder of Super Creative, a media production studio. Rob began his career on the hit TV show, Stargate in 2004, and has gone on to work in many roles in media including producer, director, cinematographer, editor and designer. Rob’s interest in astrophotography sky rocketed in 2020 when the pandemic hit and has become a complete obsession since the first night on his roof. Rob is a member at large on the council of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Vancouver centre and has had his images published in Sky News, Canada’s leading astronomy magazine. In 2021 Rob launched an online show, Robservatory, on Youtube that focusses on sharing information about astrophotography.
